nevertheless, governor romney was able to raise more than 10 million right after that debate. what does that mean, those campaign contributions, at this point? >> the president's campaign had such a big month in september because a lot of his supporters thought he was going to win and they wanted buy in and they put up the biggest month any campaign has had in this election season. i would point out president obama had a bigger month in his fir run for office in 2008. but really, for romney, he just energized supporters and showed him he's back in the game. i would say there was a lot of talk before the debate that mitt romney, his -- the chances in the race were slipping away so a lot of republican donors were looking at moving to congressional races and wanted to think about the senate and house races as a way to save runs, if you will, because they thought romney's chance mrs. over t shows he's back in the game. >> the vice presidential debate, a lot of people who werethis on the fence have been telling me that they got the specifics that they wanted from the romney campaig
